Lead editorial decisions for a subject area, manage peer review, liaise with authors and reviewers, and shape journal strategy.

Provide timely, constructive peer reviews according to journal guidelines, evaluating manuscripts for novelty, rigour and ethics.

Editorial Assistant

Support editorial workflows

 

Support editorial workflows, manage submissions, coordinate reviewer invitations, and handle correspondence with authors and reviewers.

Acquisition Executive

Content / Submissions Development

 

Identify and recruit quality submissions, manage calls for papers, and build relationships with institutions and societies.

Advisor

Editorial / Subject

 

Provide strategic advice on editorial policies, indexing strategies and journal development, lending your expertise to guide the team.

National Representative

Regional Liaison

 

Build local networks, promote the journal, and coordinate regional editorial activities and reviewer recruitment efforts.

 

Location: Remote (global).

Volunteer & Internship Program

Our program aims to train early-career researchers and publishing-interested individuals in scholarly publishing best practices. Roles are available for editorial interns, copyediting trainees, and more. The typical duration is 3–6 months, offering flexible remote placements. Interns receive a certificate, mentoring, and letters of recommendation upon satisfactory completion.

Selection process

  1. Initial screening — eligibility, fit, completeness of documents (1–2 days).
  2. Shortlisting — interviews or sample tasks for certain roles (5-6 days).
  3. Final decision & onboarding — offer letter, confidentiality agreements, training schedule.

We aim to notify applicants of outcomes within 8-10 days of submission for most roles. Timelines vary by role and volume.
