Aims & Scope
UARJMS publishes high-quality, peer-reviewed research that crosses traditional disciplinary boundaries. The journal welcomes original empirical studies, integrative reviews, and methodological advances that: Address complex scientific, technological, social or environmental problems through interdisciplinary approaches; Present rigorous, reproducible methods and complete data or code to support results; Demonstrate clear theoretical contribution or novel empirical evidence; Are relevant to international scholarly audiences and policy/practice stakeholders.
Typical subject areas include (but are not limited to): environmental science, computational methods, public health, data science, social systems, engineering & technology, education research with multidisciplinary implications, and interdisciplinary studies combining natural and social science methods.
Article Types
Original Research Articles: Full empirical/theoretical papers (4,000–8,000 words).
Review Articles: Comprehensive or systematic reviews (up to 10,000 words).
Short Communications: Timely brief reports or pilot studies (≤2,000 words).
Methods & Protocols: Complete methods or protocols with reproducible code/data.
Data Papers: Description of valuable datasets with persistent identifiers (DOI) and access instructions.
Perspectives / Policy Notes: Short, evidence-informed commentary (800–1,500 words).
Each submission must include: structured abstract (150–350 words for research), 3–6 keywords, Data Availability Statement, Author Contributions (CRediT), ORCID for corresponding author, and ethics approval where applicable.
