1. Responsibilities of Authors
- Originality & Plagiarism: All submissions must be original, free from plagiarism, and not published or under review elsewhere. Proper citation of sources is required.
- Authorship & Contributions: Only those who made significant contributions to the research should be listed as authors. All co-authors must approve the final manuscript.
- Data Accuracy & Integrity: Authors must ensure their data is accurate, transparent, and free from fabrication or manipulation.
- Conflict of Interest Disclosure: Any financial or personal conflicts of interest that may influence the research must be disclosed.
- Ethical Research Practices: Studies involving humans or animals must follow ethical guidelines and obtain necessary approvals.
2. Responsibilities of Reviewers
- Confidentiality: Reviewers must treat all manuscripts as confidential and not share or discuss them with others.
- Objectivity & Fairness: Reviews should be constructive, unbiased, and based on academic merit, without personal criticism.
- Plagiarism & Ethical Concerns: If reviewers identify plagiarism, data fabrication, or ethical misconduct, they must report it to the editorial team.
- Timely Review Process: Reviewers should complete their evaluations within the given deadline or inform the editor if an extension is needed.
3. Responsibilities of Editors
- Fair & Transparent Editorial Process: Editors must ensure all submissions are reviewed fairly, based solely on academic merit.
- Confidentiality: Manuscript details must not be shared outside the review and editorial process.
- Conflict of Interest Management: Editors must avoid handling manuscripts where conflicts of interest exist.
- Publication Decisions: The decision to accept, reject, or request revisions must be based on the manuscript’s quality, originality, and relevance.
4. Handling Misconduct & Corrections
- Plagiarism & Ethical Violations: If plagiarism or misconduct is detected, UAR Publisher will take necessary actions, including retraction, correction, or banning authors from future submissions.
- Corrections & Retractions: If significant errors are found post-publication, authors must notify the journal. Corrections or retractions will be issued when necessary.
